The Mole Coming back to ABC on June 2

During the NBA playoffs last weekend ABC/ESPN was heavily promoting the return of The Mole beginning June 2. I watched the first season many years ago and it was actually one of the few reality shows I liked. If I remember correctly, season 2 of The Mole was cancelled after only 3 or 4 episodes a few years ago. Looks like ABC is taking some chances brining this show back again.

I remember the first season of The Mole. The "mole" of that first season turned out to be a smug-looking woman lawyer, who eliminated all the black contestants first. No one ever called her out on that. Some critical media questioning would have been in order here, but I guess some outlets are too busy to go beyond reading press releases.

The person who said that the white woman eliminated all the minority people first is so full of it. The contestants took a quiz and the person with the least ammount right goes home. But that's the 1 reason why I like the mole, it's not a popularity contest, the contestants control there own destiny. You don't need to kiss up to other people, you don't need the viewers, you just need yourself.

In regards to season 2 of the Mole, it debuted right around when 9/11 happened. It didn't do so well, so ABC put it on the shelf and brought it back in the summer of 2002, problem with the season was that it ran against a little show called American Idol.

Can't wait for season 3, cause part of the fun is watching the show trying to figure out who is the mole. If it's like the past, ABC will throw hints out there for the viewers that will be in the background. Kind of bummed out Anderson Cooper won't be back, but I understand.

The early elimination of the black contestants is exactly what happened. How then, am I full of it? ???

Are you saying that they weren't good a quizzes or what? ???

Because you implied that the "smug looking woman lawyer" played a role in eliminating contestants from the show, when in fact, the contestants control their own fate by answering questions at the end of the show. You are making a mountain out of a MOLE-hill ;D
