THE MOOSE GALLOPS INTO SMITHERS, B.C.

Vista Radio has rebranded THE PEAK CFBV 870 in Smithers, B.C. to MOOSE FM. The format has morphed from mainstream AC to Hot AC. This MOOSE FM is unique as the originating station actually broadcasts on the AM band.

The new MOOSE FM in the Bulkley Valley area is also simulcast on CFLD 760 Burns Lake, CHLD 1480 Granisle, CKBV 1490 New Hazelton, and CHBV 106.5 Houston. The fact that the signal is available on the FM band in Houston kind of makes the MOOSE (FM) brand legitimate.
