The most reliable sunrise and sunset skip stations at your location

We all know and love those times between night and dawn and day and night, especially when they coincide with driving to work or home. Who needs music, news, sports or political talk, when you can hear a preacher making a pitch for your hard earned money on WCPC in Houston, Mississippi?

What stations seem to always be there just before sunrise and sunset in your city, then disappear like your last girlfriend? Heck, what stations do you try to catch?

S/W Ohio:

Sunrise: (I'll have to check my logbook when I get home)
640 WHLO
850 KOA Denver, CO
990 CBW Winnipeg
1170 WWVA Wheeling WV

Sunset:
540 WAUK Jackson WI
640 WXSM Blountsville TN
680 WPTF Raleigh NC
720 WCGR Pisgah Forest NC
780 WWOL Forest City NC
810 WSJC Magee MS - Not much anymore
820 WWBA Largo FL - Only at certain times during the year
830 WTRU Kernersville NC
850 WKNR Cleveland
920 WGKA Atlanta - Not so much anymore.
940 WCPC Houston MS - Been checking it out for many years. It used to be a real small town station.
1010 News/Talk 1010 Toronto, ON Can
1030 WNVR Vernon Hills IL
1090 WBAL Baltimore
1110 WBT Charlotte
1550 WIGN Bristol TN
1580 WHFS Morningside MD - Forever remembered as WPGC

I'll try to remember what all I have picked up here in East Moline, IL (Quad Cities USA):

This is only a partial list, material may later be added at any time-

810: WHB (formerly KCMO) Kansas City, MO, sometimes mixed in with WGY Schenectady, NY
880: KRVN Lexington, NE, sometimes mixed with WCBS New York, NY
950: KOEL Oelwein, IA over or underneath (depending on signal strength) WDLM splatter
1000: Some station to the west, either KTOK Oklahoma City, OK (SW) or KXRB Sioux Falls, SD (NW); I don't believe I have ever heard KOMO Seattle and both of the listed stations on this channel power down and/or directionalize at night; otherwise WMVP Chicago is the only station I ever get on 1000 kHz; day or night. Improved reception from WMVP's only slightly directional daytime signal is also quite possible during SR and SS skip and it has even happened that way on several occasions as well.
1020: mix of KDKA Pittsburgh, PA and WPEO Peoria, IL (as long as the latter is still on the air; WPEO is a daytimer)
1090: mix of KAAY Little Rock, AR and KNWS Waterloo, IA (as long as the latter is still on the air; KNWS is a daytimer)
1100: WTAM Cleveland, OH (have yet to hear anything else on this channel; I know it's possible)
1110: mix of WMBI Chicago, IL and KFAB Omaha, NE (haven't heard WBT Charlotte, NC yet)
1130: mix of KFAN Minneapolis, MN and KWKH Shreveport, LA
1170: Normally KJOC Davenport, IA (local); however, in the distant background, I have occasionally heard KFAQ (fomerly KVOO) Tulsa, OK and WWVA Wheeling, WV or a mixture of both at various times and/or if KJOC was ever off the air for maintenance or transmitter problems. As these two stations protect each other at night as they are former class I-B clear channel stations, normally both KFAQ and WWVA disappear at night after both are on their directional night facilities. KJOC protects both KFAQ and WWVA with an extremely directional antenna pattern aimed exclusively to the north at night and thows off deep nulls to the east, west, and southwest.
1290: WIRL Peoria, IL
1300: KGLO Mason City, IA
1330: KWLO Waterloo, IA
1370: KDTH Dubuque, IA
1440: WROK Rockford, IL
1470: WMBD Peoria, IL, KWSL Sioux City, IA, WBKV West Bend, WI, and KWAY Waverly, IA (the last one powers down at night from 1 kW day to 61 watts; however, on a few occasions I have even heard KWAY at night as well as SR and SS skip; possibly as a result of someone at KWAY either doing transmitter testing or forgetting to flip the switch to night power, the latter of which is illegal)
1650: KYHN Fort Smith, AR mixed in with KCNZ Cedar Falls, IA (the latter is a regular here 24/7 although very weak in the daytime)
1700: KBGG Des Moines, IA

A few more
Sunrise
950 WWJ Detroit (Sunset also)
I'm sure there would be several more, but I tend to listen to local news in the AM drive.

Sunset
640 WCRV Collierville TN
1130 WISN (Sunrise & Sunset)

Probably quite a few in the 1230 - 1490 zone, but they tend fade in an out very rapidly, so I don't DX those frequencies while I'm driving.
