Something happened at The Sun News in 2002 that should shock anyone who cares about radio history. Actually, the problem goes back to 1994, when they started putting most articles on TV and radio in the Sunday TV section, which doesn't get microfilmed (that in itself is shameful). They stopped doing this in 2000, and most of the articles made it to an online news library where you paid $2 per article. The pre-1996 articles didn't. In 1999, they finally started putting these online for free like the rest of the paper. But those articles didn't make it to the news library.
In 2001, I decided it was worth the money. I had been tempted before when I would read the first few words. They weren't there! I asked someone at the paper for help. They didn't have them either.
Does anyone? Surely the people or stations in the articles kept them. Well, I know of one station that didn't. After a merger they threw out a bunch of stuff.
Is there at least someone out there who refuses to throw anything away and has kept every Sun News TV section from 1994 to 2000?
