NBC Sports to air Major League Baseball in 2026. Yes it’s another case of NBC Sports moving from local broadcast rights to National TV rights to air MLB games. NBC had local rights to MLB games in places like San Francisco, Boston and Philadelphia via their RSN’s prior to this announcement. San Francisco NBC Sports Bay Area had local rights to the San Francisco Giants and NBC Sports California have the soon to be Las Vegas A’s back when they were in Oakland. Its interesting to see NBC Sports do ones where they transfer from local broadcast rights to national TV rights for NBA initially to now MLB.
