So, imagine my surprise when I pick up a used book and this "Acknowledgements" page greets me when I open the book:
"Thanks to ___________, .....
and.... Michael Dixon, Toby Gold, Barry Landers, Barry Young, Earl Baldwin, Preston Westmoreland, Ellen Schenck, Tom Carroll.... - to name a few of the many radio and TV hosts who have been kind and generous."
Simon & Schuster book published in 1988. KTAR hosts, I can understand. But KFYI? If the book was published in 1988, wouldn't that have put them in the pre-Limbaugh/pre-CC Beer Baron era? And did he use the laugh tracks for guests back then?
