The new 101.7 The Beat

The former Blaze 101.7 is now calling themselves "The Beat" with 10,000 joints in a row. The music still is the same, urban CHR more or less. I was hoping they'd mix some dance in with the new name. It'd give them an opportunity to pick up former 105.3 listeners. They are already picking them up, since 105.3 is mostly super lame pop. They don't play much dance OR harder hip hop like they used to. Just alot of pop, like Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, Green Day,etc.
