Just heard most of the beginning of the new Kiss FM. Went out to the car to catch it down here in Chatham County and heard Steve Harvey saying "we told yall it was comin". The first song, of course was the Prince song they were stunting with all weekend. Then they said get ready for 1,000 songs commercial free or somthing. The imaging sounds pretty good and if the music is decent, qmg may need to pay attention. I was hoping for CHR, but maybe I should've wished for R&B so it would turn out the opposite! ::)

Somehow I knew that this move would do somthing to help out TQR, the Prodical Son. It makes alot of sense though.
 
Something else I just realized by checking out the new Kiss webiste... If your launch their listen live stream it says WMKS... Looks like the WFMX calls may be a thing of the past as well... I can see CC parking those calls somewhere and if they launch a MIX format somewhere east of the Mississippi that will be where they land... JMO CC1
 
Mercury is out of the picture. This station is a full fleged CC station now! No benefit to promote the Mercury name.
