The new 92.7 JILL FM

What do you think about the new 92.7 JILL FM? I noticed that the station is focusing on a lil more older great music with a mix of today's music. Not only that, they have Traffic reports every 10 minutes and 92 seconds of news in the morning.

While traffic reports can be key for commuters, could they be considered clutter for a non personality AC station whos signal is challenging at best for anyone traveling any distance within the metro? I have to laugh when they give reports of a sigalert or traffic problem downtown or on the east side. Their signal is so limited to the West side, by the time anyone that can hear their signal drives to the traffic problem areas, the situation is likely to be over.

Why Jill airs traffic outside of AM drive and extremely beyond their coverage area is beyond me.

I would have to agree with you on there signal. My question also is why do they have KAJL on the air in Adelanto if they are not gonna give traffic reports to use residents of the Victor Valley area? If they are not gonna serve there listening area they should move KAJL transmitter back to Riverside. If I'm not mistaking I been reading that there is a few Cities that want JILL FM to move there KAJL transmitter back to Riverside because they Arturo moved it without permission.

The IE signal was moved to the Victorville market to accomodate the move of the Avalon station to Orange county. All are licensed: the FCC shuts down stations moved without proper authorization.
