First let me say that getting rid of Cledus, while unpopular with some, simply had to be done. His ratings were horrible, and whether that's because of him or the uphill battle he took on going against a mainstay like Caddy and Kicks, who knows. On the other hand, letting Slam go was a mistake. The guy knows country music inside and out, he will be missed.
That being said, I have to say I like to "New" revamped Bull. The music selection is better with more variety, and the imaging is awesome. The addition of Madison to mid-days, even the voice tracked, was a good one. She is peppy and has a nice voice, I like her a lot. I have not listened to the new night-time guy, so I can't comment. Any guesses on who they will get for mornings?
As for programming, I'd like to hear Bob Kingsley's Country top 40 on Sunday's right after The Sounds of Faith. I don't even know when it's on now.
I'm pulling for them. If these changes, plus whenever they get a new morning show don't make a dent in Kick's ratings, then time to close shop.
