The NEW B102-9 All Around

Seems as if WXXB is changing its gameplan format wise, imaging, and a new website. Just wondering what everyone is thinking about the new changes. I see that more pop songs are making it into the hour...they needed that, but also I think they need to expand their selection a tad bit more. Also, they take so long to jump on the bandwagon for a song...by the time they have it as their "new music" it has already been in rotation at other stations for weeks.

Hmmm, bout time they shook the station up. What's their new imaging sound like? Anyone recognizable? At least the new website looks good.

B is sounding very good. Their jingle package sounds kind of similiar to the one WAZY was using when they first went CHR back in 2001, but not exactly. Music seems a lot more streamlined, liners sound great, etc. B still seems to continue to keep their focus specifically toward the music and not so much the DJs, which has always been something that, I think, has always worked in their favor.

I haven't checked out the new website, but that's my next stop. ;-)

Sounds to me like the jingle package is done by Chris Cline's (Hoosier native by the way) "N2 Effect". http://www.n2effect.com He creates what I think are the best jingles around.

I do like their new jingles and imaging as well. The new website is also pretty sweet too! Who's the PD up there?!?!
