"The NEW Channel 27" on KDFW 4-3

What's the deal with Channel 27? For about a week, the station is mirrored (over the air) in blurry standard definition on co-owned Channel 4 on subchannel 4-3. and the branding is "The NEW Channel 27" Since Fox sold off its studio and back catalog of Fox primetime shows to Disney, they can no longer fill schedules of their duopoly stations with these shows for free. Lately Channel 27's schedule has been filled with reruns of CBS's CSI and Big Bang reruns, multiple showings of the syndicated Family Feud, Judge Judy, Divorce Court, reruns of NBC's Dateline, rebroadcasts of Channel 4 local news....Looks like they are preparing to sell Channel 27 while full-power stations in big markets are still fetching $50 to $100 million.

I think this is a filler subchannel, I think KDFW might be picking up This TV or another diginet coming in January and they launch 4.3 to test to see if KDFW 4.1's PQ will change due to the extra bandwidth of carrying 2 subchannels before launching a second diginet subchannel
