The New Edge

Im just curious I have been listening to the station since it changed format, what do people think of the station so far, the music, the jocks, the promotions....what's the vibe...is it good,bad ????? I have to be honest I like the format , I like the fact that they play old and new, but they also play stuff that you dont hear as much or ever heard. What do people think????

They're on my dial! I like them, alot. The night at night is Andy Listing, The former aka "Ian Rock Star", of Fly 92. He is in his perfect element.

Morning show...PD?

How long does the EDGE plan on going without a morning show? Although I kinda like the fact that no "self-serving" Jock isn't getting in the way of the music in the morning!

Also, have they even hired a PD yet?

It doesn\'t help that the FCC has tossed interference standards out the window, and allows low power jesus stations to broadcast on 104.9, in both Coxsackie, and Glens Falls. The Coxsackie station is 16 miles from the Edge transmitter!!!

The signal to the North, really isn\'t bad. It is basically a local in Saratoga

Springs, but starts to get beaten up by the Glens Falls signal, around Wilton and Corinth...



...that mixed with

Considering how poorly WZMR has performed with their previous formats of Modern A/C, Smooth Jazz and Country, I would say that they have nowhere to go, but up!

This reincarnation of The Edge, is definitely their best chance for success.

Furthermore, I wouldn\'t be entirely suprised to see The Edge, appear on 105.7

eventually, once that signal finally gets moved in...
