The New Girl

I switched over for a few minutes worth (from Kathy Griffin special) and it did look very
lame.

I was thinking, how did they ever give this show a green light? Haven't we had something
like Three Guys & A Girl & A Pizza Parlor......or something like that before?

The show is half over and I just noticed I've looked at the clock 3-4 times in the last minute.

I like Zooey but who the hell are the metrosexual guys (?) they've paired her with?

Sorry girl.....no reason to keep watching. Fox strikes out.....again.

That was more of a slam at a Kathy Griffin "special."

Sorry if I offended you Kathy Griffin, wherever you are. [Does she do juggling in her special?]

I fell asleep ten minutes in, which is generally not a good sign.

Miss Deschanel is very attractive and has some good comedic timing.
Maybe I am just getting too old to comprehend all of the dynamics of
twenty-somethings who hook up on Craigslist. Either that or the script
was not all that compelling.

Trivia question (and I do not know the answer....) has a pair of sisters
ever before had two prime-time shows on the schedule on the same network?

I was not impressed. Besides metrosexual is out, and good ol' retrosexual is back. That aside, I once attended a sidewalk carnival that had a bowling pin jugular, who often had hit pitcher taken.

ok, i've already said it once, but I'll say it again, this show is bad. The only reason I made it through it was because I knew Raising Hope would be on next.

and how old are you guys? the show probably doesn't target you guys, you guys probably don't like glee either? well I don't either :D

I liked it. Not a lot, but the guys are pretty much harmless and she is pretty in a quirky way as well as adorable.

But I'm taping "Glee" with the end time set an hour late so I won't miss "Raising Hope", so I get it anyway. If they move "Ringer" I can use VHS.

I'm 50 and I like "Glee". But I only like the music when they do the older styles, like last week.

Plus Rachel looks hot. And Quinn and Santana look hotter. And Brittany is adorable.

I like "Glee" but I generally find the music atrocious and just fast forward through the numbers. I love contemporary music, but the stuff on "Glee" is just too saccharine, and there is too much attention on Rachel and Kurt. With a few exceptions, Puck's rendition of Queen's "Fat Bottom Girls" and Blaine's rendition of "Teenage Dreams" from last year come to mind- I could do without the music. I really just watch because its a Ryan Murphy show and Quinn, Santana and Brittney make it watchable for a number of reasons, attractiveness included.

After a miserable second show The New Girl is now off my viewing radar.

Fox and NBC are now tied at 0-0 for the new season.
