The New Guy at Channel 9-5-5

Jag came from market 140. So that is a pretty big jump from 140 to number 11. Give him time and I'm confident he'll do just fine.

While I do have confidence in the guy, I just feel it's questionable. Reason being is because you got ICE who's been there since 2002 (first as Paris) and she's still a weekender. Meanwhile, Nick Craig (who was also a weekender at one point in time) got promoted to mid-days and then afternoon drive....you hire two people from different markets (Big Boy and Buda)....you bring in someone else from a sister station who at first didn't fit the format but is making his own (Joe Rosati)....yet ICE has yet to see her day come as a main player instead of a weekender. I would've like to see her holding down the nighttime shift because I feel she did a good job doing so until Jag came in.

Don't get me wrong, I have confidence in the guy and I hope he finds success in Market 11 (coming from Market 140)....but you would think that you would go in-house to fill in any necessary gaps you may have as a radio station before looking elsewhere....

Ice, in my opinion is just not that good of a jock. Her voice is, also in my opinion, unappealing. She comes off as a person trying to act thug.

Nick Craig has been with 955 since 2001, and has been involved in so much with building the station to it's current sound. He has been involved with a TON of promotions, hosting club nights and mix shows. He was pretty much as well known as a full time air talent. And to top it off, he really is a good talent.

Ice will most likely never get a full time status at Channel. She is just not that good.
