The new I-100 stream is now up if anyone is interested

BTW this is just a beta test stream.. its only about 1/5 of the playlist, I was anxious to get it online

im signing off temporarily to add more music.. thnks to all those who tuned in... suggestive criticism welcome

OK the stream is back up indefinately for awhile,, much more music added.. ENJOY and leave comments.

sorry for that technical difficulty there... LOL I even have the technical difficulties the old WOKI had.. maybe I should call Buster...lol Anyway.. back on air and rockin hard

Questions.. ive had alot of hits, some of you listened for many hours ;D others for only a few minutes, what am I doing right or wrong.. Can anyone provide me a list of songs that WOKI played that you would like to hear?

Im gonna fire up the stream again tonight, but seriously give me some songs you want to hear from 1974-1993,,, has to have been on WOKI and or WKSFs playlist,,, even if it was only heard on AT40 open house party, the friday night dance party, or the sunday night dedication party with JJ Randal.... maybe even a few oldies from the old 990 KNOX. The point is the station is localized to East TENN,, KY, and maybe GA, VA, and NC in the parts where these stations where heard. please i need at least a 24 hr library but only want to play what was played in this market..So contribute to a list of songs,,, even if its only a few.. ive got a ton of gems on 45s 12 inch singles and albums., 8 tracks, and cassette singles that can be ripped to mp3. Why so many listeners but no commets? ive only got 300 songs so far.

Back on air, my computer restarted during an update last night and knocked the stream down,, but tis back,

Well, since you included the "Stereo 100" era in your request (1974-1979) I can give you some of my favorite songs from that timeframe. 1974: America/Tin Man; Atlanta Rhythm Section/Doraville, Angel; Bachman Turner Overdrive (almost anything from the 'Not Fragile' album); Billy Joel/Piano Man; Brownsville Station/Smokin' In the Boys Room; Carl Carlton/Everlasting Love; Carly Simon/Haven't got time for the Pain; Cat Stevens/Another Sat. Night, Oh Very Young; Chicago/(I've Been) Searchin' so long, Call On Me, Wishin' You were here; Dave Loggins/Please Come To Boston; Eagles/Already Gone, Elton John/Bennie & the jets, Bitch is Back, Don't let the sun go down on me; Eric Clapton/ I shot the sherrif Gordon Lightfoot/Carefree Highway; Greg Allman/Midnight Rider; jim Croce/Workin' at the car wash blues; Jimmy Buffett/Come Monday; joni Mitchell/Free man in Paris; Kiki Dee/Amoureuse, I've got the music in me (If you don't already have Skynyrd's Sweet Home Alabama - go back three spaces); Neil Diamond/Longfellow serenade; o Jays/For the love Of money; Ozark Mountain Daredevils/If You Wanna Get To Heaven; Paul mccartney/Band On The run, Helen Wheels, Jet; Paul Simon/American Tune; Rick Derringer/Rock and roll Hoochie koo; ringo Starr/You're 16; Roberta Flack/Feel Like Makin' Love; Rolling Stones/Ain't too proud to beg/I know it's only rock and roll; Steve Miller/The Joker; Stevie Wonder/don't you worry bout a thing, Living for the city; Three Dog Night/Sure as I'm Sitting here; Wet Willie/Keep On Smilin'; ZZ Top/La Grange. Wow, that's just one year. Work on some of those & I'll be back with 1975 later. 8)

Well right now the stream is down temporarily as it was just a beta stream. I need to get licensed and get a good shoutcast stream. Right now im back to doing dance for now with unsigned artists,, but I plan on getting a good legal Shoutcast or live 365 stream complete with sweepers from all era's.

Let me know if you need a good deal on a Shoutcast/Icecast server. I work with a very reputable hosting company and would be glad to give you a good deal. Send me a message if your interested.

"Stereo 100" era in your request (1974-1979) Some good music then...especially when WRJZ came on in 76, best music mix Knoxville ever had or will have.
