The NEW iMIX 92.3 in Jackson!

Finally, a CHR in Jackson! 9.23 The River was flipped from Adult Hits to a FLAME THROWING C.H.R. using the branding statement "iMIX 923, Wyoming's Number ONE Hit Music Station"! Has anyone heard this yet? It sounds GREAT and they are LIVe afternoon drive with former WCGQ, Y-102, Q-101, ISLAND 106, WILD 106, 933 KDKB talent "Marty The ONE MAN PARTY"! Has anyone heard iMIX 92.3 yet? It is defintely what the Jackson Alpine area needed!

Actually, the local people (adults) in Jackson have once again lost out - pulling the "western" off the Range was a huge mistake. There's already too much country in this small market. The imix change was just as poorly designed, alienating the advertisers. There isn't a significant number of younger listeners to make it viable. I think WHACKED must be a Northeast Broadcasting employee...the stations continue to be a tax write-off for that company. The only other stations in the market are terrible, but get SOME ad dollars because they have local staff who are active in the public...

"Marty The ONE MAN PARTY"!

HA! Now THAT'S funny! I wonder if he got that from Artie The One Man Party? Brings back memories... Those were the best days of music... the late 90's... especially in the west coast. Nowadays, although dance music came back, you will not hear Artie The One Man Party and most of the music that was associated with that sound back in the 90's rhythmic radio mixshows, anywhere.

Not that anyone knows what I'm talking about here, but for those of you who might, I must say I miss those days of mid to late 90's dance, latin house, and freestyle all being on top 40 and rhythmic radio. Power 106 L.A..... 103.9 Arizona's Party Station... I miss those days!!! (But I shall be thankful because the stations we have in Arizona NOW are amazing). Oh, and yes, Power 106 is still around, staying true to the rhythmic format and sounding "Party Style" in L.A.

The BEST party stations of the late 90's: KYLD WiLD 94.9 and WPOW Power 96. I'm sure those people know about Artie The One Man Party and that whole dance / latin house & freestyle sound that the fun rhythmic and top 40 stations played.....
