The New KCPX

I thought I was transformed to my Elementary and Junior High days in Utah after hearing what I thought was KDYL this morning but I soon discovered that they changed the Call Letters to KCPX. When did this happen? I moved from SLC Utah to Philadelphia, PA with my family in 1967 and I experienced two other stations in Philadelphia that were legends in their own time. I thought I heard it all this morning. From my location in Mississippi where I presently live I have the ability to stream stations all over the country and frankly the discovery of this call letter change from KDYL to KCPX made my Day. It would have been a bigger surprise if the owners of KDYL would have switched frequencies with the owners of the present occupants of 1320 AM. :)
