Mix and 933 FLZ are really starting to sound exactly the same. CC is now calling Mix "new" and linking it FLZ on the air and on the websites. Could this be a last ditch attempt to save Mix before blowing it up and moving 98 Rock to 100.7 and FLA to 97.9?
 
Ha! ...because the Mix listeners' other favorite radio station is playing Christmas music for the next month. Nice try Clear Channel. Go ahead and admit it... the Hot/Magic attack has taken more outta your FLZ/Mix combo then you ever imagined. Happy Holidays!
 
That could suck, however I not at all surprised. Listening to Mix a few weeks ago I heard 2 rap songs in a hour. Granted Magic can be boring to listen to at times but I'll never hear any rap on there.

How about that, Clear Channel's stations are losing ground to Cox's Robojocked mess, is hell freezing over.
 
I still think the ratings system is fixed. Cox beat Thunder the same way, and it didn't make sense to me then. I refuse to believe that people really like automation and incessant repetition. But whatever, it's all crap anyway.

I used to be able to tell, I gave up trying when I was listening to an internet station and the DJ stepped on the vocal - and he said he did it at the time! Robo wouldn't have known it was happening.

...And since when is a DJ live on the web?

Play has a less competitive signal. Mix sound totally CHR now. I haven't heard any 80's or 90's and I believe it is tracked except for PM drive. Looks like they are surrendering the AC market to Magic/Dove

If FLZ is already Top 40, WHY would Mix go Top 40 as well? That is, if FLZ were to shift Rhythmic.
 
This move would seem to make to make no sense, but the music on Mix seems to all currents and the jocks and what they do is straight up CHR style. I presume somebody understands it.
