The New Morning X

The New Morning X with Axel, Kim, and Wally.

I've really been enjoying Axel filling in the last week or so. He doesn't come across as "Listen to me!! Listen to what I have to say!!" Is it wacky high jinx morning radio? No, but it's good. Axel is very clever and he and Wally play off of each other's humor very well. I'm not 100% sure how Jimmy fits in as he hasn't been there much lately. I love Kim Lichtenstein (sp?) too. I would like to see her replace Lesle on a permanent basis. Kim is in touch with the nightlife scene in Atlanta and to me is more relevant than Leslie. Leslie has the music industry contacts obviously but how often does it play into what happens on the show? Rarely.
This of course is just my humble opinion. We'll see what the new management wants to do. <P ID="signature">______________

I think Axel does a real good job and keeps the show moving. Kim also sounded good except when reading the news. She tripped over her tongue several times but she has been doing segments on different morning shows for years. Wally is fits in well. Jimmy has a role but it needs to be defined more. I think they will keep him though.
