The new MyNetworkTV schedule - now with fewer telenovelas!

Neither do I. The article says they plan to air Rocky IV for one of the first My Movie nights-that is a surefire way to scare away your viewers!

At least for Sinclair's sake, it's CHEAP!

As an MMA fan, I'm stoked for the debut of the IFL. There are a lot of talented competitors involved. For the show to be a success, though, there will have to be a lot of ads on other Fox properties. If it gets promoted well, it could be a surprise hit.

They can't scare away viewers they don't have. I mean, at least they're trying something. I hoped they would air reruns of some FX originals like Rescue Me, 30 Days, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them do that next. From the article it looks like they're starting negotiations on just that kind of thing.
This new network boss was literally hired last week and has already done a major overhaul. It'll take some time to work up deals for the FX shows if that's the route they want to go.

I think this will probably work out fairly well for the network. I am a little surprised they're pulling the trigger this fast, but it's obvious they're not totally ditching the telnovella idea either.

Even America One is a better constructed "network" than MyTV. In fact, A1 puts My to shame.

Do they really think it's a good idea to run something called "International Fight League" up against WWE "Raw" and whatever fight show is on Spike TV?

This won't help.

I'm sorry, but IMO making snap decisions on scheduling probably won't help this stinkhole of a network. I thought they would stick it out the telenovelas for a year and then move on to something else.

Once again the posters of this board show their hypocitical selves. Since MY signed on, you all have said that they need to dump the telenovelas because they arent working. Now you're saying they shouldn't make changes yet? Pick an opinion and stick with it.

What they REALLY want is for MyNet to just go away entirely.

I don't see anyone who said that, aside at least one person comment how long they thought the telenovelas would last.

The telenovelas are not working and maybe Fox should have stayed with their orginial plan to air them as a daytime sydicated block. And well the programming they are planning looks like its just as bad.
