THE NEW OLD KDAY- YOUR THOUGHTS

So we've had the new version of the previous/former format of KDAY back for a month now. I noticed they're not only playing "classic" hip hop and r&b, but have thrown in some funk and '80s as well.

Personally, I am enjoying the new old format. I would like the format on a better signal, but understand its a somewhat limited appeal format, so we know that won't happen.

Thoughts on the station since the change?

What's the website?

Generally, R&B and the '80's ... great.

You can have the hip hop, but I am old.

Sort of.

This station would succeed if only for one thing...the sad reach of the signal. The coverage varies so much in the city, and just falls off the earth in the valley. Is there any legal way that they can boost the reach of signal?

this is a great idea and i really like it. what a shame it is on such a pathetic signal. the only chance they have is to either find a real signal or convince bunch of class a's to simulcast, but i dont think we have any volunteers.

Boy, does this bring back memories. When I was growing up, KDAY's broadcast tower was located at the corner of McLaughlin and Palms boulevards in West Los Angeles. I lived within 2 blocks of that, and I could get KDAY on an earphone without a radio attached!!
