The new phonebook's here the new phonebook's here

Guess what? I just got a copy of the new Yellow Pages for Central Florida the other day. Couldn't help but notice that it seems to get smaller and smaller each year. Anyway I always go to in the white pages section and under W, I look for all of the radio and TV stations. And it always seems to amaze me that there are numbers for radio and TV stations that do not exist in the real world anymore. If you have a copy, turn to it and read along if you can.
First discrepancy is WB18 WKCF, It's been over 11 years since they called themselves that. A little further down the list you will find WFIV 1080, those call letters changed after the turn of the century. WHTQ has 2 phone numbers listed, you know who they are. WIXL 1190, those calls changed back in 2004. WMMO 98.9 It's all about the music, no it's not (the slogan that is). WPRD La Fantastica 1440 Stereo, there's still an AM stereo station on? Have to pull out my Radio Shack home receiver and check that out.
In the yellow pages under Television stations you'll find WLCB TV45 and WMFE which do not exist under those call letters.
I've been always tempted to call up one of those "non existent" numbers and see who or what answers, but haven't as of yet.
Anyone else find this interesting, or am I just being a jerk for writing this.
