The "New" Star

Although I took a shot at Beasley in an earlier post, I do like what they're doing with Star 102.7 Although again, they're not really doing much to promote the station...
To me, overall the "new" Star sounds a lot like Mix, but maybe just a little more grown up. With the exception of Mark & Mercedes, Mix often sounds like a puberity playground.
Beasley holding on to Eddie Webb after his short stint at KKLZ prior to it's format change, I believe is a good move. Eddie has the voice and talent to a be a major player in any market.
All of the Star jocks are promoting Eddie and Suzie in the morning. Suzie is actually Suzanne Ansilio. Southern California natives will remember her from a long time stint at KLOS.
Maybe I'm giving away my age here..., but, has anyone noticed in how John Thompson sounds a bit like L.A. legend Sam Riddle?
I have good wishes for this station. Opinions????

If you're going to fight the big dog in the market everything you do on and off the air has to be better than the leader!

Does Star have a better morning show?

Does Star play more and better music than the leader?

Does Star have bigger and better TV and Outdoor marketing?

Does Star have fewer interuptions?

Does Star have local branded NTR events?

Does Star have bigger and better on air contests?
