The New WQLS Is Now On

The air at 90.5 FM in Camden.

Just found out about this, a few days ago.

This station sounds very good for 400 watts.

I can get them in many different places throughout my hometown.

It looks like this station is taking the sails out of WYVC/WCOX.

I say that because this station has Camden area businesses advertising on here and they also broadcast sporting events from Wilcox Central High School.

This station is doing the Black Gospel format too.

Unlike WYVC, this station is playing more of the Contemporary/Soulful sounding songs.

This station may take over as the dominate voice for Black Gospel in Camden.

Dr. Craig needs to step it up or else his station(s) may soon go under for good.

P.S. Speaking of Dr. Craig, what's happing over at WYVC/WCOX.  Those stations haven't been broadcasting with their usual 24 hours of music and programs.  As of late, they have been on and off the air.

WYVC is back on at 500 watts. Their antenna is indeed on a lighted tower.
Dr. Craig is working on getting an old Collins transmitter lit up.

So this would explain the louder than normal sound, I've been hearing recently.

Hope he can get all the kinks fixed and resolved real soon.

Thanks for the update.

I appreciate it.
