The O Brothers

I know we had a few fans during our stint at 93X in the early 90s because I still hear from them. And yes, most of them are as deeply troubled today as they were then. Once in a while I get a request for some audio we did, and of course I always respond with a friendly "why the hell are you bothering me." But I've decided to made available "The Best Of The O Brothers Show Show." There's a "secret link" at the bottom of this page:

Feel free to stream it, download it, or burn it. And by burn it, I mean record the audio onto a CD, then put the CD in the sink, pour flamable liquid on it and light it on fire.

Have a weekend!

loved 93 X back in the early 90's, Hurricane Waynes afternoon show was fantastic, and Greg Steele did an amazing job with the on air presentation IMO

Is that Gary and Mike? It's been so long, even I forget!! I was there, 1990s were very nice for rock and metal music fans, and 93X started off well enough, but I believe they are primarily NuMetal pundits these days, not much to my liking. Let me say, of the radio BITS I did archive, I have one, where you lead into Ted Nugent but just prior, or post, were reading off celebs birthdays, lets see, if you remember "Mandy Patinkin's B-day, It says here he's a She!" hahaha
Robert Guillaume, who they had a hard time pronouncing, providing fodder for the comedic moment (it's actually pronouned like Guillotine, only add "ohm" to the end of that! haha) and G. Gordon Lidy's B-day, and someone there, Mike? Was holding his hand over a burning candle to celebrate! haha, Still funny to type these out... and One of the Pointer Sisters... You weren't sure if it was "June" or "Prune" and it just got more silly from there! Thanks for the mammories, guys! haha

Part of the problem with the old 93X to the new one is that the new one is under completely different ownership now.

Whereas the first one was trying to take out KQ, the second is trying to protect it.

And yes, part of it is the dismal state of Rock these days.
