The Oasis vs. The Wave

CBS Dallas/Fort Worth got it right with The Oasis... it is an HD-2 station also. However, it is 100% smooth jazz with little, if any, vocals. Please take a listen to both and let me know your thoughts. I tuned into the Wave (Houston) this morning and they were playing Lionel Ritchie = not smooth jazz! http://www.smoothjazz1075.com vs. http://www.khjz.com
 
The Wave tried so hard to compete directly with Sunny, that they lost their original music mission. They were more smooth jazz when they started, then became more AC.

Maybe it's the demographic difference between Dallas and Houston, but for some reason, stations here tend to stick with the tried and true, and not take many chances.
