I think this has been discussed before but... I have the Sony tabletop HD radio and live in NE Ft. Worth and about every ten minutes the KMVK HD2 (Oasis) station has dead air for 2 - 3 seconds. I gave one to my Mom and one to my aunt for Christmas and they are both experiencing the same problem. One lives in HEB and the other in Oak Cliff. Is anyone else experiencing this? If so, do you have the Sony too? I have also had this occur on Energy 93.3. Any input appreciated.

This has been discussed before. A lot of things could cause this problem, but most likely it's some sort of problem with the process of encoding and transmitting the data. About the same thing as a break-up of a webstream.
