The obligatory monthly MIKE post

Is he (let's now think of MIKE as a person) now playing currents? I've heard both Wake Me Up When September Ends & Beverly Hills over the past week. I know he plays recurrents so maybe these two songs are moving into that category now but they both seem to be in pretty hot rotation at other stations.

On the other hand over the past couple of days I've heard Abraham, Martin, & John by Dion & Dylan's Rainy Day Women #12 & 35. Aside from the love affair Mike seems to have with Dean Martin I really haven't heard music that goes that far back.

The format gets curiouser & curiouser.

There was never a specified time era constraint on the format.

It obviously skews 80's heavy because that's their target audience, but there's also a lot of 70's, some 90's, dips as far back as the mid-60's, and occasionally recurrents and currents.
