"The Office" to close its doors in 2013

Finally. The show was decent the first couple of seasons (not as good as "Seinfeld" or "Everybody Loves Ramond"), but it stopped being funny about 2007.

Glad the show is ending, and it should have ended when Steve left.

With that said, NBC is in serious trouble. The Office was their highest rated scripted show on the network (which is sad, because even it is down quite a bit from the series high).

The show should have ended last year or earlier. It could be lame, but I wonder if they could plan a spinoff of one or more characters. Darryl or Angela maybe. They'd probably prefer being in new roles however.

We all know why NBC hung onto the show. Artistically, I think it should have ended when Jim and Pam got married. Even then, it was running out of steam.

I'd agree its time for it to go.

Once Steve left, and they tried replacing him, the chemistry seemed to be lacking between the characters. It was a good run, now lets enjoy the reruns.

I watched "The Office" for a few seasons. I found it to be somewhat entertaining. However, I lost interest around the time Jim and Pam got married. I agree that it should have ended a couple years ago.

I guessed it. A spinoff is in the works called The Farm which will be based off the Schrutes. It may have potential but I think it will be ho hum. However, there was one somewhat decent Schrute farm episode of The Office post Carell, "Garden Party", where Andy's father and brother (Josh Groban) appeared, last season or so.
