The Official Holiday Lite Countdown Thread

The countdown is up at WLIT.com. They show 20 days and counting. I am betting by Sunday, Nov 9 we will be Walking in a Winter Wonderland.

They have posted countdowns before only to start up early. Maybe with the warmer weather over the next few days and the distraction of the presidential election on Tuesday they won't start until next weekend, otherwise I bet they would start this weekend. Either way, I'll be keeping vigil on 93.9 FM for the exact moment!

Discussion please!

Does anybody REALLY care when they play holiday music?
In my opinion no, especially when I've been seeing commercials from a furniture (can't think of the name of the company) company for Thanksgiving sales since Labor Day.

Belive it or not! The way that our economy in Chicago and the way things as it is going,
who gives two peas in a pot about Christmas music anyway!

As of this year, I can see a forcast in this 2008 society, that nobody wont even give
Christmas a secound thought, because people in our society people will be too busy
thinking more about the election of our new US President and our financial worries,
instead of spending it on Chrismas presents.

THIS JUST IN!.... Christmas is on the Brink of being canceled. It appears that Santa has laid off 100 more elves, slowing down production of Christmas presents. It is all due to a slow economy.

I Was Right!!!

"Grandma' just got run over by an intoxicated CEO of a failed Brokerage Firm while walking from a soup kitchen on Christmas eve".........c'mon people add some lyric's to my 2008 version of It's a Wonderful Life Christmas!

The Elves that were let go by Santa are going to be the Christmas Jocks for the Holiday Season. Lite Jocks have a month or so off and will return 12/26.
