The old "Rocky" could be coming back!... sort of.

For those of you west of town, may be you have heard this as well? 106.3 "The River" says that they are "on track for something new in 2006." Now, let's see. WOMP, the heritage pop station just went Jack meaning they are covering the classic hits format... and a lot of it. Two DJS that are rollin on "The River" were there when "Rocky" died. Hmmmmmmmm! Thoughts? Am I crazy, or does this sound logical at all?

Stricktly my opinion but I say no way! If I were a bettin man, which I am not,I would watch for an "enhancment" of the Classic hits library, maybe a big contest or something else that takes the station to the next level. The guys on Pennsylvania avenue have done to many good things over the past 2 years making 1063 the only true local player in Weirton-Steubenville! Why start over?
