The Old WBCV, Bristol

One morning, reckon it was around thirty-five years ago or so, I was listening to The Truck Driver's Special with your friend and mine, Brother Maze preaching, of course. He mentioned a station he was on in Bristol and it wasn't 'ZAP. Brother Maze said, via illustration, said station was either owned or ran (can't remember specifically) by a Free Will Baptist Pastor in Bristol, who was a pilot. I found out later, the station to which he was referring, was the now defunct WBCV, now WIGN. I've seen the name Gennings Dotson (sp) associated with the station in those days and I believe a David Mizell (sp) was associated with them at sometime as well. Just curious who actually owned the station? Ironically, I heard a clip (as it were) of something from their 'BCV days, right after they became WIGN. It was an Exit of I.W. McNamara's (sp) Saturday afternoon, one-hour broadcast, which still mentioned their old calls and PO Box 68 as the station's address. In those days (right after becoming WIGN), they were clearly trying to capitalize on 'ZAP's The One To Turn To slogan in their IDs, saying Jesus, The One To Turn To, WIGN, Bristol, but I digress. Here's their current web presence.
