The only good thing about WPLM is

Ron Della Chiasa.....that's the best thing about WPLM but does anyone know what happened to his long time producer Jeanne Grant ? She left the show about 6 months to a year ago , I was wondering if she is working elsewhere in the Boston market.

Maybe Talk 1200 should consider her to replace Jeff Katz.....

Yeah, rigggghhhhhttttt!
That’s like saying Premier should consider replacing Rush Limbaugh with Christopher Lydon!!! :D :D :D :D :D

Ah! the answer is right there in front of them - just go back to the mix of 60s-90s soft AC with the Nostalgia/Adult Standards that they had from 2000-2006...

it ain't boston and it ain't providence...its plymouth - its demo is going to be retiring boomers more than any other market in new england....wduv and wjpe (sarasota and naples) demonstrate that this format CAN still be successful with that demo.

COME ON EASY 99.1 - go back to being 'Easy' again!

I just scanned the dial and they were playing McCartney/Wings' Band on the Run and the
announcement afterwards said something like "memories are made of this, starting
April 26". Contest? New format?

Apples to oranges. South Florida has a far greater percentage of retired boomers than Plymouth does. Just because a format works elsewhere doesn't mean it can work here.

Schuyler is probably correct... if "something magical is coming".... WPLM re-broadcasting Magic-106.7 would extend 106.7's signal well onto all of Cape Cod. Although the overlapping of signals from Plymouth to Boston would be a waste of spectrum. WPLM rents the AM... why not the FM? But I still think the "Plymouth Rock" idea would be the best for 99.1. Real rock from Woodstock to now.

I noticed that they've been saying that something magical is happening to "Today's Easy 99.1," so it's possible that the station name won't change, but it will just be a tweak of the format. But question: Do we know what TIME on Monday the change will take place?
