How long did 690 stay Top 40? I remember the frequency being a hodgpodge of formats during the 80's and beyond until it became WOKV. Also, when did WAPE-FM start playing the hits?
 
You missed a relatively lengthy thread on the subject back in April-May. Check page 3 or 4 below under "Ape Promotion" or something like that. The short answer is that the AM from the late 50s until the early 80s, then shifted over to FM.
