The Market Manager got "resigned" last week.Was he the problem? Now what's in store for this cluster?
 
Syracuse/Utica/Gee, If Only We Had Ratings

"Cluster" is only the first part of what's going on at Citadel Syracuse.

What have they done right in Syracuse since the 95X-Ryno-Stern debacle? What sweeping changes did 95X make to improve the product and recover lost listeners? Has Lite suddenly challenged Y-94 for AC dominance?

I'm sure that we don't want to talk about revenues.

Farid is under pressure to get the stock price up. $1.52 - down from $11.01 a year ago, ain't making stockholders happy. Both Farid and Judy Ellis own lots of stock that's now tarnishing their parachute.

Of course, we know what rolls downhill. Kevin Legrett, who oversees Buffalo, Syracuse, and Binghamton, is not looking like a star. Revenues are down - likely way down in Syracuse. The bus is chasing him, and Syracuse is the easiest place to find bodies to act as speed bumps.

This is only the beginning. I've heard stories about the goings-on inside Citadel Syracuse that go beyond stupid all the way to illegal.

Sweer jebus, a poster with ethics... on the Syracuse board, no less!

Citadel's Syracuse cluster looks like Camp Runamuck. Bad decisions by alledgedly brilliant people have been made over the last three years, but there's enough blame to go around. What a mess.
