The Passing of Bob Grayson

A friend of Mr. Grayson requested I post this.

Bob Grayson left his cancer filled body shortly before 9 AM Tuesday morning. Bob died peacefully. He just quit breathing. He didn't have any gasps for breath like he couldn't get enough air. He took his 7AM medicine and swallowed it. When the Hospice office opened at 8, I called. I had his nurse listen to him breathe and she said she would be here in 30-40 minutes. He was already done breathing when she got here. Not at all scary - just peaceful. He was not going to get well and the pain kept increasing. His skin really hurt Monday. He is ok now.

I had the privilege of working with Bob a number of years back & have been extremely saddened by the news of his death.

I learned more about how radio works, and why radio works, from him in a couple of years than from the sum total of everyone else I encountered in over a decade.
As happens too often, after our paths separated, I lost touch with him over the years but thought of him often. He was simply as good as they get & the world is a poorer place without him in it.

My deepest and most sincere condolences to his wife Karen & those closest to him.
