The passing of Tony Lettiere

Read this morning of the passing of Tony Lettiere. Tony was, for many years. the copy writer at WKAP. After a change in management, he moved on to WAEB where he finished out the remaining years of his long radio career. He was a very happy person, always quick with a funny retort, but, definately a background person. Although most people never heard of Tony, when radio was live and local, they heard a lot of Tony's words. He was creative and good at what he did. Thanks Tony, for all the words you put into the mouths of the rest of us.

Wow, what a name from the past! Tony was an awesome guy and always had a kind word on a tough day. In all honesty, I hadn't thought of him in years, but remembering him, that's pretty much the way that he was. He was there, but didn't look for any spot light. He was much quicker to give credit than to look for any to come his way. My condolences to his family.
