The Patty Duke Show on DVD?

Has this show ever been released on DVD? If not.... does MGM (the current rights holder of the series) plan to release it on DVD? Any thoughts?

It was good to see it on the small screen on the Nick At Nite 20th Anniversary Special on TV Land.

No,Patty Duke hasn't been released on DVD at this time. About MGM planning to release it on DVD,it is quite possible but I see another series that is now owned by MGM making a bigger splash and that would be The Addams Family on DVD. I would like to see not only Patty Duke on DVD,but other MGM shows such as Flipper,Gentle Ben,Daktari,Courtship Of Eddie's Father and Please Don't Eat The Daisies.

Actually, Time Warner owns MGM's pre-1985 TV and movie library, which Ted Turner got when he acquired the studio, but kept when he sold the studio off. Flipper and, I think, Gentle Ben are owned by someone else other than MGM or Time Warner. (Time Warner, however, does own the Flipper movie.)

Speaking of The Patty Duke Show, when I caught it on TV Land over the weekend, the Sony Pictures Television logo came up at the end after MGM's. I haven't seen Sony come up on other MGM owned shows like The Addams Family, Green Acres and Cagney & Lacey when those are shown on WWME-CA Chicago. So, who owns the show MGM or Sony?

Sony recently acquired MGM, which was why you saw the Sony logo after the MGM lion.

Plus all those shows that was mentioned are now part of the Sony Pictures Television library, so you will see the SPT logo show up on those shows in the future.
