THE PAULA POUNSTONE AND RITA RUDNOR EFFECT.........................

As I was reading the thread on forgotten comic gilbert godfried it had me thinking about these two talented funny comedians in like what happened? Why have these two female comedians disappeared from our subconscious is it our low attentian span nowadays or do we discard people after we're done using them for our own entertainment, It's sort of like a mother buys her child a toy and the child plays with it for weeks then all of a sudden the mother notices that the toy has been sitting under a table across the room for days and realizes the child has no use for it anymore. It's really something we all should think about.

Rita Rudner is performing in the Venetian showroom at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. She works almost exclusively in Las Vegas.

I don't listen to the whole show--if I'm late finishing lunch on Saturday or have some reason to be in the car at that time on Saturday or Sunday I might hear a few minutes--but isn't Paula Poundstone a regular on NPR's "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me"?
