We touched upon this briefly on the thread predicting the demise of WXBQ if anyone would ever stand up to them, but the badly underperforming "Peak" is now something of a HOT AC called "104.9 KOS," playing Lenny Kravitz and Pink and the like.

To my knowledge, nobody has lost their job (a good thing).

But why this format? And who came up with it?
 
I will just say i like the station so far.. The new morning show is very good. I actually like Billy Bush. Only thing i wish they do more of is add more 80s in with the other music. Maybe not focus on it. But otherwise, I like it so far. I have been listening a lot more. I know i have heard it playing around the area on radios in shops as of late.
