I thought I heard him sometime last week interacting with Dan in the morning. Hmmmm makes you wonder. Also, been checking out the tim and willy podcast and they said "a deal is in the works but details are being worked out" hmmmm

Am I the only one who thinks The Peak is sounding way different than a couple of months ago. The music sounds like The Mix. A lot more newer music than before. And more female friendly. Anybody else notice this?

I've noticed the new slogan and have not heard any recent mention of "Whatever we want". True that they are adding some current HOT AC chart hits to the playlist, most noticably that Leona Lewis song about love (I change the dail anytime I hear it, way to trance like for me,) Other than that I have noticed in general that they seem to be playing more newer stuff over older stuff.
Perhaps if there is any valididty to the rumors of Booniville swapping stations, this change is to make the Peak more attractive and better position it for a format modification.

The high tech radio on our '76 Gremlin displays the station calls as well as title/artist/station slogan. All that is missing from Da Peek. Nurse Jeff and I get the feeling they're tweaking the music based upon internal research and getting theyselves ready for PPM. btw - anyone hear from Mr Peekerman lately??

I've always enjoyed The Peak on my visits home. I think Scott did a good job with the morning show as well. That being said, Tim and Willy could have a blast on that format if Joel opens it up for them to do what they do.

I don't know that I would be THAT harsh...and I don't listen in the morning much, because my works starts later in the day.
However, the times that I HAVE listened, I wasn't very impressed. I didn't think he really added much to the Peak experience. Not really that shocked.
Tim and Willy would make me get up earlier, if only because I would like to see what they do in a non-country format.
I'll tell you who I think is excellent on The Peak... Monica Nelson. So personable and conversational! Other thoughts?
