The Perfected 106.7

So I was thinking about what a PERFECT 106.7 would be.....

106.7 Lite fm, playing "Atlanta's Best Variety of Soft Rock, with Dramatically Less Talk"

The station would primarily play music from 1975-1989, but also adding a few of the softer 90s songs and currents. You wouldn't play anything before 1970 and nothing to hot.

Cumulus would hire Alpha Trivette and put him in mornings. Returning would be the "nearly impossible question", my favorite segment on ATL radio from a few years ago.

Let me know what you think....

I got the idea when listening to Soft Rock 105.1 in Detroit

Now where's my stash of old Lite 106 bumper stickers? No, not the one in NYC.

God that would be boring! Just put True Oldies back on, at least on the weekends and nights. I listen to the TOC all the time online and smart phone. They know how to do radio!

I haven't liked 106.7 since they took off TOC. Granted, I got tired of hearing Scott Shannon 24/7 but at least he has a passion for the music and I really enjoyed the themes on the weekends. 106.7 is all over the place musically and the night I heard them play Michael Bolton was the night I removed them from my presets.

Now when I want to listen to Classic Hits I listen to Majic 105.7 WMJI in Cleveland.

You are correct Guru! Since they took the TOC off it's just another station playing songs with a terribe rotation and titles at that. This past weekend the TOC had a terrific Valentine's Weekend and they played some great tunes that was like a WOW factor. Fun Radio!

You two are one of the ten people left who haven't converted from oldies to classic hits yet.

In case you missed it, my last paragraph states that when I want to listen to Classic Hits I listen to Majic 105.7 WMJI in Cleveland ... certainly not 106.7.
