The Host of "Pirate Radio" with chris sheppard, was
never seen again..haha, just kidding !!

from various markets, including denver, colorado.
:::Some planet-DJ's, stayed w/in the niagara radio group,
in different aspects.
of course, dj-drahkar(?sp) is still on 101.1 -tune in fridays!!-
funky dred, tune in to mission control..sat nites.

in, and then moved out. He then went to y108 for a number
of years, but currently is not there.
"Lorraine K" a decade ago or so, was at energy108. Well,
no one is there, including lorraine, whereabouts: unknown.
"Downtown" dan (last name, available upon request) went to
z103, went to ottawa, and returned to toronto, as "Dan kelley"
on chum-fm..some on-aire, and last check, production "God"
"FreeStuff" Guy, rob white went to 97.7 in late 2005.
"Lowell" the goofy sidekick, is still in the wny area..
working in a non-radio field, but is doing okay for himself
(he reports he misses radio).
Jammin' Todd Edwards, still in niagara falls..and is reachable
thru email..although, he hasn't emailed me/or i haven't emailed
him, in an extended period of time.
I spotted "marsha" about 3 years ago, at a local spot, and
she seemed pleased with what she is doing now..
Last Time I checked: the North Avenue office space for the Buffalo
location of prizes, operations,etc..was a stuffy doctor's/lawyer's
office...but, a few fri. and sat. nights in the fall 0f 2005,
it looked like the "other" place to party and just hang out : )
on the elmwood strip..
any one else, just ask.
That is all i can think of at this point in time.

just for the record I'm working in TV now much much more money than radio, although radio is tons of fun, I went by the name dj scott back in the planet days from there I went to the edge (103.3) and then to 97 rock after a dispute with Rick Wall. Also Marsha introduced my to my wife. Like I said thanks for the info.

I loved the Planet - Kerry was awesome in pm drive and then mornings. I really liked the whole music mix played on The Planet and will always remember the launch with non stop U2 ;-) Long Live FM 101 The Planets Niagaras New Rock Alternative

and i was leaving the store. We chatted, for a few minutes,

Yep The Jammin One Jammin Todd Edwards here... Thanks to Dj Drakkar for getting me hooked on the message board. Well Im here, Still spinnin away within the confines of Club 54 in Burlington Ontario. Ive been a busy boy since back in the day... freakin crazy at times!! I started a Radio Syndication Service back in 1999 and ran with it successfully for a few years then went to a radio station to do production in Newmarket Ontario. I was promised a fulltime gig there and was stated that it was fulltime till I was informed that they only needed me P.T. Not such a good gig afterall when I needed to pack up and move 200 kilometers away. So I resignated and concentrated my efforts on Syndicating. Needless to say it fell apart with time and now the project just lays dorment. I was reading the message board here and cant forget the "Clubbbbb Extreeeme Screaaaaam" That was just a whim when I recorded that live @ Club Extreme and will lay as a classic within the radio commercial world and thanks to Barry Hayes who produced that Gem! haha What a blast. Anyways.... I was to start @ Wild 101 doing a mixed show back last year (2006) and was in talks with David Dancey and Rob White (when he was PD) I just needed to refresh myself with the equipment in the studios. Last word I received was that I was to get in contact with Dave Universal to set up a time and date to have my first on-air shift. Needless to say, No return phone calls were ever followed up (on Wilds end) therefore the opportunity just fizzled out... Will see whats gonna happen with them in the next while though for radio opportunites in the next while.
As Far as I last spoke to Big D which was last month, hes located in London now where he's doing the morning show on Energy 103.. Corrus keeps bumpin him around but with the contract that he drew up with them, they have to keep him gainfully employed.. Good for him!
Downtown Dan is working for CHUM in Toronto also doing Production voice overs with his company called Ear Candy productions

At this time, I still have some faith in the idea that 101.1 will be going country, but there's still no fact intended...

The Planet and 14X proved to Buffalo radio execs that there was a market for Alternative radio in Buffalo. Prior to that they were too scared to play new music and we were stuck with classic rock and hair metal retreads. It lead to the evolution of the Fox into the Edge. It's funny how things come around though as the Edge seems to be more of a mainstream rock station than alternative now (when they are not playing talk shows). It would be nice to hear a real alternative station like that in Buffalo again. The Edge in Toronto is good, but Can-Con and thier boring personalities make it hard to listen too for long periods.

Bro. It's not my intent to officious. But as someone who's seen people afflicted with this hideous condition, Alzheimers disease is nothing to joke about. I know you were just trying to be humorous and I can appreciate that. Be a mench (Yiddish, "good guy, salt of the earth") and take some time to read the link. Obviously this radio board must have stemmed into a Discovery Health board, since I last posted which is cool, but the facts are I know the disease and I know it well. Not that I need to get in anything personal on this board, (About a particular family member that is very very VERY close to me that has this debilitating disease) but my intent is not to be officious, because of a "brain freeze moment". It's an off the cuff remark, for others to have a chuckle just because sometimes Im human just like everyone.... that’s it, that’s all. (the other times Im just an off the wall nut.. Oh gawd here comes another post! LOL)
As far as others see this message... pass the word along about this disease. It is a severe life changer especially for the caregivers and its victims!
