One little ol' 2 share radio station closes down Six Flaggs AND most of I-20.....it's simply mind meltin'!!!
The meyham was incredible from reports I've heard.....all the TV trucks were still at the park as of around 11AM althought the mid morn crowd did not look that large.
I remember a gas giveaway at 96 Rock back in the late 80's. We were in North Atlanta, can't remember exactly where, but we shut down I-285, in both directions, for morning rush. The police were livid.....Tom Connolly(WKLS VP/GM) made nice with the numerous country officials who showed up( free gas for all complainers!!)_ but secretly had a big smile on his face! $50,000 dollars of FREE publicity.....for nothing!!
