The power of the promo!

I had no interest whatsoever in watching either Burn Notice or In Plain Sight until the recent series of promos caught my eye. Not that I thought they would necessarily be bad shows, they just didn't catch my attention in any way. The ideas behind the shows were interesting, but it just didn't stick with me. Until over the last two months or so, that is.

Whoever did the new promos for these shows should get their props big time. He/she/they managed to get me (and the rest of my house) actually interested in the characters beyond just the main plot.

Now after not watching so much as 5 minutes of either since their start, I've watched a few episodes of both and I like 'em.

Good job whoever you are!

Let's hope the same premise works for Edie (Carmela Soprano) Falco's new show, "Nurse Jackie".

Remember -- life is full of little pricks...

(Mods, that is what the actual tagline for the ads for the show are...)
