THE PULSE (107.7) on 101.5,Meredith

Under Nassau at the time, both 101.5 in Meredith and 102.3 in Concord, which were the 'original' Hawk frequencies, were to become WEEI network stations under Nassau's almost attempt in making that happen in 2007. When that deal fell through and Nassau eventually restructured, 104.9 which was a classic hits "Frank" station along with 99.1 in Henniker, became the "Hawk" with more of a classic rock format. There was no need for two co-owned competing classic rock / hits based stations, and with the restructuring, both 99.1 and 101.5 were basically in radio limbo until their new owners took over. 101.5 eventually lived up to it's plan to be an WEEI station, almost 6 years after the original goal. And now you know, the rest of the story.... I think... ;D.

Actually 101.5 comes in well all the way to Manch-vegas! (I always wondered why Nassau took the Hawk off 101.5 and moved to the weaker 104.9 Wolfeboro signal)

As far as WZEI, I noticed they did NOT carry the Celtics game (WTPL had Football). Is there another Lakes Region outlet for the Celtics? WZEI just carried the ESPN feed last night.

Then you probably won't be pleased to learn that 101.5 has a CP to move their transmitter to the exact same site as 104.9. They will have identical coverage after the move.

Actually, since they're now part of the EEI Network, it makes more sense....93.7 is Good to Concord, so 101.5 doesn't need to reach further south...
