The Q92 Thread below..

Getting too long and off the page...thought we'd start fresh.

There needs to be clarification of the facts posted below:

The Noon hour on WZKL is NOT the highest rated hour. That honor in the fall book belonged to the 7pm and 8pm hours. (a real demo too, persons 18-34)

The Noon hour finished 6th persons 18-34, It did finish 1st in Women 18-34.

Say what you will about the specialty programming, it is working for them!

Yeah, but Kayleigh's been doing the 80's forEVER across the street at 94.1, so I think if you check the W25-54s and take out the "low end", you'll find it's not even close, with WZQKOOL coming out the loser in that race. Most offices ain't changing over just for the 80s old school/retro/whateverthehell and staying for the Fitty Cen'. The bump in Ws on the low end probably indicates the few that defected from HBC-FM in the last book. See..HER I'll stick up for, 'cause she's good people and wasn't one of the knife-twisters. HAH!
Just an opinion from someone who's been there.
Edited by RadioPU on 04/12/06 06:05 PM.

EXACTLY! That's why Q92 will eventually be #1 in Canton! Especially in the morning. Watch out KDD and HBC! The new king of morning radio is here! John is so smart in listening to what ALL Canton stations are playing, then putting those songs on Q92. And making changes in the morning-- BRILLIANT. The topics are GREAT. The music is GREAT.
Mark my words-- NUMERO UNO!

Beasboy...damn dude

Uhhh...there is NO WAY you are serious. You really should consult a doctor...NOW!
DeLuca beating HBC AND KDD?...it will NEVER happen. (perhaps in 18-34, but certainly not the 25-54's that KDD and HBC target, so what do they care)

No, sir...that would make him an idiot. And you as well for thinking that is smart. Because it's not, it's stupid. WKDD is Hot AC (and in Akron, btw). WHBC is AC. WRQK is Rock.
THEY ARE ALL DIFFERENT AND ALL TARGET DIFFERENT AUDIENCES!!!

> And making changes in the morning-- BRILLIANT.

No, no, and uhhh....NO.
You are either working for 92 now, or are a disgruntled former KDD or HBC employee who is bitter because they fired your moronic ass

> Mark my words-- NUMERO UNO!

Yeah...you keep telling yourself that

Black Eyed Peas said "Johnny wanna be a big star"...READ THIS JOHNBOY!!!

Driving along tonight, listening to a GOOD CHR (KISS-FM)...hear a little promo.

KISS-FM is "resurrecting old school" this weekend (Easter...get it)

Heyyyy Johnboy!!!!
I don't work on the staff of WAKS, haven't heard anything ABOUT this weekend til the above mentioned promo...but you can bet your ass they will do an old school weekend like it SHOULD BE DONE. They KNOW their audience. And they WON'T be playing KANSAS or VAN HALEN...they are smart and leave those records to WNCX

So get that radio out, tune it to 96.5 this weekend, and take notes...GOD KNOWS YOU NEED TO!

Congrats!

Why? So your usual pile of garbage stands out! Congrats! It does as one of those "you don't have a clue either" threads.

Let me congratulate you again. You don't get it. Since you haven't a clue as to what the hell you're talking about (and I DO!!!!) in this case, it does NOT matter if they are #1 or not!!! They are abandoning their format to get that. Nothing to brag about at all.

Would you make the same ridiculous claim if WHBC was playing 50 Cent, Fall Out Boy and Sean Paul as part of a "specialty hour?" Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if you did.

There's obviously a reason you post every once in awhile. You should probably think about cutting back on even that.
