The Q951 Morning Zoo is back!

Hello folks, it's me again! Just a brief line or two to say how happy I am to hear The Q Morning Zoo on the air again! I do miss David Day, so I guess it's not really the real Zoo,but it is good to hear The Kenman and Kareoke Kriss doing a live and local morning show!! Carson is doing a great job and I know with just a little time to jell, the Q morning zoo will be back better and funnier than ever.I will admit that do not like the music they play,but in my opinion,they all have a quik wit and they are up to snuff on topical subjects local and national.I will miss my country music fix in the morning but I know I will be in a good mood when I arrive at work at 8am.Good-bye Sharky,Angie,Scotty Ray and Debbie,Hello Q Morning Zoo!!!! :D :D :D
 
Are you Jay from the old Y95? Aren't you on MISS 101 now? It is great to have the best DJ in town back on the air. Ken Stokes is doing a great job on the new morning show.
 
Sorry,I am not the same Jay.I am not even in radio anymore although I do miss it sometimes! I am just a man who listens on the way to work everyday.I have met Jay before at some Jimmie Rogers events and he seems like a nice guy!As far as the best dj,thats kinda hard for me to pick because they all have good points and bad points!
 
Jay, thanks for the kind words about the "new" Zoo. I'll be sure that they know your comments.

Just so you know, David is now the afternoon jock (I think--I know at one time he was doing middays) and MD at top 40 WIHB in Charleston, SC. That station is owned by Apex, the former owners of WJDQ et. al.

Q951 never had the Zoo before but consider the fact that Kraddick was on there when they made the switch. The "new" Zoo consists of the two original co-hosts (Ken Stokes and Karaoke Chris) and Carson takes the place of David Day who is now in South Carolina working for Apex. Besides the fact that David isn't on the show and it's on a new frequency, it's the original show.

Actually Jonathan,,,if ya want to get technical, The Original Zoo Members would be David Day, Dr. John Anthony and former WTOK Weatherman, Jim Loznicka. Chris would come on later when Dr. John left the airwaves of WJDQ. When Jim left for Alabama, Dave and Chris carried the show for some time until Ken Man returned. History 101 (or should it be 95.1) for you Zoo lovers. Oh,,,this is my first post on these boards,,,,this is pretty cool.

LOL Yeah, that is true. Honestly I had pretty much forgotten that.
