The QHMSHOW is gone from 100.3 WRNB

The Quincy Harris Morning Show is now gone from WRNB. also gone Soulful Sunday has been moved exclusively to Classix 107.9!. Is something going to happened? Perhaps a rebrand or change?

Well, when the sister station at the top of the dial airing R&B oldies is easily beating the huge signal in the middle of the dial, methinks it may be time to move Classix to 100.3 (a much better signal) and put something new on 107.9. But what?

That's what I was thinking move classix to there.

Would that benefit Urban One though? Is there an audience in the Suburbs for Classix that 100.3's signal would reach but 107.9's signal doesn't?

I feel like Urban One is the best possible owner for 103.9 and 107.9 because of their limited coverage over the Urban area of Philly. If you shuffle Classix onto the big stick of 100.3, would there be enough gained listenership to justify the move, and what would replace Classix on 107.9 to make the signal profitable?

And considering the new audience more than likely has 107.9 saved in their car or at home, they might not love it enough to retune their radios to 100.3. It's way too much of a risk to mess with the formula that has finally made the flea powered 107.9 signal profitable.
